about
Friday night, February 2021, I was feeling fed up with being stuck in this Covid lockdown which feels like it's going on for ever and ever. "Can't see my friends...". I have tried to capture my feelings in this track - an expression of the frustration and boredom of repeated days working from home and long dark nights as well as reflecting back at the first lockdown in April when everything was so quiet. The uneasy nature of the tune aims to capture confusion over the ever changing lockdown rules and the rising death toll.
The picture (album art) was taken during the first lockdown - Easter 2020 in Exeter North Street - during a food shopping trip. It was very eerie.
I'm OK by the way - I take it out on my music :-)
Keep yourself and others safe from this nasty bug x
